Greetings, fellow SolidWorks users. A question we are sometimes asked is for a comprehensive list of all the things that Ctrl, Alt, and Shift keys are used for in SolidWorks, since this isn’t exactly documented in the shortcut keys.

Is your tool box component still showing the fastener icon in the feature manager? Trying to remove toolbox component’s link to its parent? Not sure how to do? Then keep reading. Save the part to a convenient location. Could be done by opening the part and using ‘Save as’ option in the ‘File’ menu. Close all the open Soildworks documents. Once saved, launch the Set Document Property utility (sldsetdocprop.exe). Usually this file can be found in the following directory, “C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp 2013\SolidWorks\Toolbox\data utilities”. When launched, Use ‘Add File’ button to add the file that you saved earlier. If the window does not allow you to browse file, then go to the appropriate folder and type the file name into the name field and click open. The file name will be added to the Set Document Property window. Now select the radio button ‘Property state: No’. Click Update status. Voila. Now open the part and add it to assemblies, it will be shown as a part.
The solution is in two stages. Stage 1 Step 1: Press the “Windows” button. Step 2: Type “Power Options” Step 3: Select which plan you need to modify ( for example, I use Balanced plan on battery and Performance plan on charging) Step 4: Click on “Change Plan Settings” . Step 5: Click on “Change Advanced Power Settings” Step 6: Scroll down to “Wireless Adapter Settings” and expand it, and then expand “Power Saving Mode” Step 7: Select “Maximum Performance” for both on battery and plugged in. Stage 2 Step 1: Go to Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center Step 2: Left click on the connection of yous network (Blue Color Label). Step 3: This will open the Wi-Fi status box. Select Properties, select Configure, click on the Power Management Tab. Step 4: Uncheck the box that says “Allow computer to turn off this device to save power”. Select Ok. The tweak is completed. Restart your system for the effect to be applied. International standards do not generally provide requirements or guidance on minimum fillet weld sizes. The only example of such guidance is AWS D1.1, which includes the following table (size=leg length): Table. Minimum fillet weld sizes Notes
For non low-hydrogen processes without preheat calculated in conformance with 4.8.4, T equals thickness of thicker part joined; single pass welds shall be used. For non low-hydrogen processes using procedures established to prevent cracking in conformance with 4.8.4 and for low-hydrogen processes, T equals thickness of thinner part joined; single pass requirement shall not apply. 1. Except that the weld size need not exceed the thickness of the thinner part joined. 2. Minimum size for cyclically loaded structure shall be 3/16in [5mm]. |
